Abstract

In the optical transport network technical field, a method for processing the tandem connection monitoring failure dependency of different levels includes: the monitoring coverage area for tandem connection monitoring TCM of different levels is obtained; if there are at least two TCM alarms of different levels, the failure interval is located according to the overlapping relation of the TCM monitoring coverage area of different levels and the TCM performance degradation degree of different levels; the locating related information including at least the failure interval information is output to the user. There is also an equipment for processing the tandem connection monitoring failure dependency of different levels. By using the scheme, the user could obtain the locating information of the failure interval directly, therefore much time is saved for the user.
